From the very beginning…
Happy Birthday Ian!!!
Ian Hawthorn was born on Feb. 26, 2007 @ 5:02am!!!! He was 7lbs and 15oz and I was only in labor for about 6.5 hours. Mama is hurting, but doing well. Papa did great. Ian has been sleeping most of the day, but his blue eyes are hard to miss when they are open. We’ll see if they stay blue. He also came out with a head full of hair. Once I get home, I’ll get some pictures up.
CONGRATULATIONS!
This website is worthless without pics, especially the eyes.

What a beautiful boy you are Ian, we are so glad that we were able to be there when you were born! At 5:10am I went to check with the nurses to see how your mommy was doing, we had no idea yet that you were already with us. The nurses told us that someone else was in the room with your mommy and daddy – it took me a minute to realize that she meant you! It was then that I heard you cry, it brought many tears to my eyes. Your Tia Lori thought I was joking when I went back to the waiting room to tell everyone that you had arrived (until she saw me crying) :-) To hold you was abolutely wonderful! We love you very much Ian!
Thanks for sharing the pictures and wonderful news-he looks so healthy and perfect Vall Leonard (friend of Nana Stepp’s)
